Jess Cerra - Field Test Specialist
Bio: Jess Cerra is a professional gravel racer, Chef and small business owner/entrepreneur. After completion of her Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2007, and starting her private Chef company, Jess raced her way to the professional ranks in the disciplines of XTERRA off-road triathlon, mountain biking, and road cycling. She spent five years racing on UCI Continental road teams Twenty16 (now Twenty24) and Hagens Berman Supermint. With her recent shift into the gravel domain, Jess is excited to ride with the Scuderia Pinarello team in 2021 and is not only targeting racing but also building and supporting programs that help more people, specifically minoritized communities, get on bikes. With her partner, Sam Boardman, Jess is also launching The Last Best Ride, Montana's premier gravel event, in her home of Whitefish, MT. In addition to these endeavors, Jess spends most of her day as the CEO of JoJé Bar, a real-food energy bar that she originally started in her kitchen in 2014.
